Why Manufaktur 964?
Out of love for automobiles, especially for the Porsche 964, we have turned our passion into a profession. The perfect combination of the classic look of the Porsche 911 with high comfort and sophisticated technology has appealed to us from the very beginning.

Who is behind Manufaktur 964?
Hans-Michael Gerischer:
"Restoring and customizing automobiles has always been my passion. I started with restoring and tuning Beetles.
Over 20 years ago, I bought my first 964 purchased and the enthusiasm for this car has remained. Since 1996, I have been waiting and optimizing these automobiles myself.
In 1995, I participated in my first track training and discovered a different dimension of driving and tinkering: The quality of the work determines life itself – all components of the vehicle are stressed to the limit, and negligence can have devastating consequences.
This quality standard for my own performance is my personal guiding principle for the 964 manufactory. Outside the manufactory, I dedicate myself to my Porsche passion through track days. I regularly participate in driver training courses on various race tracks in my 964 Turbo, have been a member of the Pistenclub since 2002, and have been an instructor for the Pistenclub at Hockenheim, Nürburgring GP, and Spa since 2006.vertical-align: baseline; line-height: 1.54em; color: rgb(74, 74, 73); font-family: open-sans, arial, sans-serif;">Jochen Dronia:
"I started in 1992 as a race mechanic at the Carrera Cup (964). In 1998, I then accompanied my first 24-hour race with Porsche at the Nürburgring. Since then, I have supported Porsche teams in VLN and various other racing series.
From 2009 to 2012, I supported all missions of the Pinta Racing Team in VLN, at 24H races, and the ADAC GT Cup.
After earning my master craftsman's certificate in 2000, Ifulfilled my dream and have been leading the Dronia sports cars with great joy since then.
The Dronia sports car is a company specialized in Porsche automobiles with expertise for all 911 generations from the F-model to the current models.
In addition to maintenance and optimization, we passionately build customer vehicles for racing, which we also support in use.
My personal favorite, however, is the 964.
The Manufactory 964 is a heartfelt project for me"
Restoration, process, perfection
This can only be achieved in the quality we aim for if the standards are clearly defined! That's why we have established the process for each restoration! This restoration process always sets the minimum standard – and is naturally expanded or adjusted according to your individualization wishes.
A race car naturally requires a modified body, a special engine, a racing chassis but no leather interior – our process must of course take this into account.
It begins with the inspection of the initial condition of each vehicle. This inspection includes the following work steps:
