Corsair 970 Overview

This 31ft 10inch model replaces the Corsair 31. Corsair has sold 303 of the previous model. The Corsair 970 is roomier with more focus on comfort without sacrificing performance.

Design Features

The Corsair 970s are slightly longer with a slightly raised deck. They have about 15% more internal volume for more comfortable accommodations.

Model Variants

• The Cruze: The entry model, designed to provide a fast and safe passage at sea with maximum seaworthiness for the crew.
• The Sport: Carries a taller rig and about 12% more sail area.

Corsair 970 Carbon

The Corsair 970 Carbon takes the trailerable folding trimaran concept forward by using Carbon spars and upgraded Aramid sails to provide more power to the 970 hull. This is a high performance version of an already comfortable but quick trimaran.
