Construction

Fairline Targa 40, was built by Fairline UK in 2006 to a design by Bernard Olesinski and the Fairline design team. Deep V forward; 19° deadrise aft. Full-length moulded spray deflectors. Isophthalic gel coat backed by an isophthalic resin-rich powder-bound glass mat. All gel coat and glass fibre laid up by hand, with unidirectional and woven rovings. Transverse and longitudinal strengthening stringers throughout the hull. Hull/deck join bolted and bonded. Coloured hull top band.

Mechanical:
2 x Volvo Penta D6-350 turbo charged 350hp diesel engines on sterndrives (607 hrs). Full-service history with a Volvo agent until 2019, however, recent servicing has been carried out by the owner.

All 240-volt and 12-volt circuits are protected by circuit breakers on the main electrical load control panel in the galley area.
Isolating switches to all batteries.

1 x 12v battery exclusively for starboard engine starting as recommended by engine manufacturer.
Domestic batteries accept a charge from both engines.
Emergency battery coupling system permits starboard engine battery to start port engine if domestic batteries accidentally discharged.
80 amp circuit breaker for anchor winch.
240v shore power supply including shore support cable

240v 50 amp regulated Battery charger for domestic batteries.

Accommodation

In the master cabin, you will find a large central double berth, access to en-suite shower/toilet, wardrobe, high-level cupboards, chest of drawers under the end of the double berth, dressing table and vanity lockers, ceiling lights, TV, escape hatch to forward deck, twin opening portholes with fly screens and a mirror.

The toilet/ shower room has a separate hot and cold shower with rotating screen, automatic shower tray pump-out system, shower extractor fan, sea toilet, hand basin, 240-volt shaving point, halogen ceiling lights, opening porthole with fly screen, full set of bathroom fittings, high and low-level lockers, mirror and a teak and holly floor.

In the galley, you’ll find a ceramic hob, microwave, and grill, refrigerator, sink/drainer with mixer tap, extractor fan, sink, and hob covers, opening porthole with fly screen, pull-out drinks cabinet, lighting, fire extinguisher, cupboards and crockery stowage, cocktail bar and galley front rail.

The saloon has headroom of 6 ft. & 4 in, a U-shaped dinette converting to a double berth, a dining table converts to a cocktail table and adjustable for height, stowage lockers under dinette seating, high-level lockers, opening portholes with fly screens, sliding door to the cockpit, ceiling and reading lights, deck hatch, stereo radio/CD player, TV, and under-floor storage
