Nimbus W9 True Colours

This is a fine example of a 2020 Nimbus W9 which has been well maintained and is now available through Plymouth Marine and Dartmouth Marine.

This Weekender is intended for those seeking a well-equipped, faster day cruiser with typical Nimbus DNA, a boat for those who value functional Scandinavian design, simplicity, safety, functionality and attention to detail.

Powered by a single Mercury V8 300hp engine this boat has plenty of power reaching 40+ knots and can be used for towing toys with the aft ski pylon or will also happily cruise the coast between 20-30 knots economically and in comfort. With its sharp bow section and relatively flat hull at the stern this boat is not only stable but also performs well in rougher conditions whilst also providing a dry ride for passengers.

The Asymmetric cockpit creates a wide gangway on the starboard side with high gunnels providing safety to those accessing the bow and forward sundeck. This also provides a fantastic comfortable entertaining space with galley on the port side and L shaped seating and teak table at the stern. The galley includes a Fridge, Sink, Gas hob, storage for Nimbus crockery and cutlery drawer. This L-shaped seating can also be made into a large rear sundeck for enjoying the sun.

The electric retractable roof provides shade from the sun in the cockpit and shelter on those wet and windy days but when retracted it creates an amazing open and spacious feel to the boat on those calm sunnier days. You can also completely enclose the cockpit/saloon with cockpit canopy covers.

Moving forward into the cabin you will find a double bed for 2 and also a separate heads with toilet and sink. There is also storage available in this cabin as well as emergency access to the bow where you can exit via the bow hatch or use it to provide cool air into the cabin.
