Vehicle description (by seller)

Adler Trumph Junior Cabriolet

The Adler Trumpf Junior is a small car that the Adlerwerke in Frankfurt/Main has been producing in series since 1934. The car had front-wheel drive like the larger model, the Adler Trumpf, but with an engine of just under 1 liter displacement. The modern design was created by Hans Gustav Röhr. The model 1G was sold 24,013 times until 1935.

From the improved successor model 1E in various body styles such as sedan, coupe, cabriolet sedan, and full cabriolet, a total of 78,827 vehicles were built from 1936 to 1941. After World War II, this car was intended to help the Adlerwerke restart car manufacturing in an even improved form. After two prototypes with bodies from Wendler and Karmann were created in 1948, the management decided to focus solely on motorcycle production. The prototypes were scrapped.

This car with an Ambi-Budd body was purchased by its owner in 1983 and completely rebuilt. Since then, the garage where the car is kept clean and dry has been decorated with a variety of rally signs. The car participated in all major rallies in northern Germany. In 2017, it took a farewell tour along the Baltic Sea coast from Flensburg to Ahlbeck on Usedom, lasting two weeks. An elegant pre-war vehicle in very good condition is being offered into loving hands due to age.
