Vehicle description (by seller)

FERRARI 365 GT 2+2, DESIGN PININFARINA

In the fall of 1967, the "365 GT 2+2" Gran Tourismo was introduced at the Paris Salon, a two-seater with two additional emergency seats, replacing the successful "330 GT 2+2." The presentation of a new, more powerful "quasi" four-seater was the logical consequence of Ferrari's sales development: between 1960 and 1967, the sale of four-seater models (250 GT / 330 GT 2+2) accounted for over half of Ferrari's total production. Maranello took this into account, and the 365 GT 2+2 was considered the most comfortable Ferrari built up to that time. It featured independent suspension all around, coil springs, telescopic shock absorbers, power steering, central locking wheels, air conditioning, and a radio – equipment that was rather unusual for a sports car from Maranello at the time. Between 1967 and 1971, 801 units of the 365 GT 2+2 were produced.

This "matching numbers" Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 was imported by Scuderia Sportiva Colonia from Monaco. The delivery color was "marone colorado metalizzato" with a tan interior. Only 3 units were produced in this color combination. The second owner painted the vehicle in silver metallic. We will correct this mistake during the revision work.

This Ferrari is currently being restored at Scartapatti in Mantova, Italy. Scartapatti is one of the few highly specialized companies in Europe that regularly prepares award-winning classic sports cars. We can already assume that this Ferrari will also be an excellent and beautiful 365 GT 2+2 coupe.

A 365 GT 2+2 is special, not only because it will be quite rare to find. This beautiful and particularly elegant coupé is perfect for a quick trip for four and pampers with luxurious interior features as well as a fantastic V12 engine and precise 5-speed transmission. The noble leather interior, including the leather headliner, as well as the beautiful instruments and switches, exude timeless elegance. The powerful and especially rev-happy V12 with its breathtaking soundscape delights the ears of enthusiasts of Italian engineering time and again. A perfect and very rare color combination completes the gentleman driver. The complete professional revision of this "Queen Mary" is part of this offer. Upon request, we will send you a clear photographic documentation of all the work carried out so far. A particularly above-average potential for value appreciation is considered very likely among experts.
