The hotel is situated in a magnificent forest area at the beginning of the Naßfelder Valley, surrounded by mountains, high forest, and alpine pastures, with crystal-clear waterfalls flowing through the terrain.
Additionally, the hotel has its own spring for clean water, whose composition is similar to the famous Evian water. The spring is recognized as medicinal water and contains remarkably little salt and lime. It is also used in the hotel restaurant for food preparation. The water is popular for drinking due to its healthy effects.
A special delicacy of the area is the spring-fresh trout, which are bred in two large ponds on the hotel grounds in spring water and have a unique taste because of it.
In winter, there are many snowy landscapes to enjoy with a special magic of untouched nature, and in summer, many hiking and cycling trails lead to the Hohe Tauern. Mountain bikes and other equipment can be rented in the hotel lobby.

The hotel has 36 rooms and approximately 120 beds. Most rooms are spacious and consists of two areas: a bedroom and a living room.
7 rooms are equipped as cozy apartments and have a kitchen.
The modern and rustic rooms feature free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a desk with a seating area, a safe, and a balcony with mountain views. The rooms with higher-end furnishings also have a living area, while apartments are equipped with a pantry kitchen, a refrigerator, and a dining area.

In summer, restaurant tables are set up in front of the hotel and in four pavilions by the ponds.

Location of the hotel
The hotel is located on the outskirts of Böckstein, and it is the only one that can be reached directly by skis. The ski lifts of the Sportgastein region and the Bad Gastein train station are about 4 km away. The nearest restaurants in Böckstein are only a 10-minute walk away.
