“Sea Stock” represents a rare opportunity to own a timeless cruising yacht that is already professionally maintained and turn-key ready. Currently enrolled in the highly regarded NW Explorations charter program, she offers new owners the option to continue enjoying top-tier care while realistically offsetting $30,000–$70,000 of annual operating expenses. Powered by reliable twin Cummins QSM8.3 engines and featuring freshly updated salon soft goods, she combines Grand Banks’ legendary craftsmanship with modern comfort and performance. Whether you’re looking for private family cruising or the financial advantages of a proven charter program, this vessel delivers both with style and confidence.
“Sea Stock” is a beautiful example of the 47 Grand Banks classic. She's stabilized, equipped for Pacific Northwest Cruising, and ready to take you anywhere you want to go from Bellingham to Alaska or even Mexico!
She's in the NW Explorations charter fleet and had the care that comes with their management. So if you'd like the benefit of having them manage the boat maintenance for you, have some income to offset your operating costs, have a prime slip in a great location and want to show up with provisions and have your boat ready to go, they can tell you more about it.
MANUFACTURER PROVIDED DESCRIPTION
Reborn with a new hull design, greater beam, fresh interior styling and a top speed of 21+ knots, the new 47CL redefines the term "Classic." A product of Grand Banks' collaboration with Sparkman & Stephens, she combines the best of her pedigree with stellar new performance features, construction methods and top-quality materials.
ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT
“Sea Stock" has what many believe is the ideal layout, especially for two couples who enjoy boating together. With island beds in both the owner’s and guest cabins, both couples are in very comfortable cabins, not flipping a coin to see who takes the "V-berth". Both cabins have ensuite heads and showers, plentiful storage, port lights for air and light, reading lights and the usual luxurious teak beauty. Both heads have Masterflush freshwater toilets.
Between the fore and aft cabins are the salon and lower helm and galley. The forward down galley is on the same level as the forward cabin, so the guest will get first crack at that midnight snack. Up a few steps and you are at the lower helm, which has an exit door out to starboard. Aft of the built-in helm seat is the bar, L-settee, hi-lo teak yacht table, and a new Crate & Barrel swivel chair and ottoman. The port side wall has a beautifully built-in TV that raises and lowers to hide in the wall cabinet when not in use. Aft of that cabinet are stairs to the aft exit. And next to those stairs up are stairs down the electrical panel and the owner’s cabin. She has teak and holly flooring which accentuates her more contemporary styling. Surrounded by teak and large windows, you are spoiled both inside and with the view of your surroundings.
The interior upholstery and window treatments in the salon were updated in 2024 along with a new barrel chair and ottoman for comfortably lounging.
