Boat Overview

The 1995 Island Packet 40 Dream Flower is a classic bluewater cruiser that has been thoughtfully upgraded by her current owners. Designed by Robert K. Johnson and built by Traditional Watercraft in Florida, the IP 40 is known for its solid fiberglass construction, full keel stability, and comfortable cutter rig—making her an ideal choice for passagemaking or extended coastal cruising.

Construction consists of 100% hand-laid fiberglass with ISO - NPG type gelcoat for maximum durability. The hull is molded in one piece with extra-strong triaxial glass. The deck laminate is cored with Polycore and attached to an integrally molded hull flange. Features include:
