Boat Overview

Matty Beau is a 1985 36' Kadey-Krogen Manatee trawler. She features a newer single Volvo-Penta D3 1101-E 110 HP main engine, a newer Westerbeke 5.5 kW generator, a Heart Interface 2,000 watt inverter, dual Racor fuel filters with a vacuum gauge, and a Vetus bowthruster. The seller has lived aboard her in Baltimore Harbor for several years, but has now moved to Europe, making Matty Beau available for sale.

36' Kadey-Krogen Vessel Walkthrough

Aside from the hardtop and Eisenglass enclosed flybridge helm area and foredeck, all features of the Manatee are located on the same-level main deck. The hardtop covered aftdeck includes two deck chairs and a table, a stainless steel & teak ladder to the flybridge, and a boarding gate on each side. Enter through the double teak & glass doors into the salon, which offers wrap-around seating and two lounge chairs to starboard. Moving forward, you will find the galley to port, the head with an enclosed shower to starboard, and the stateroom located all the way forward with an island queen size berth. Engine room access is via salon sole hatches.

Headroom measurements are as follows: 6'2" in the flybridge, 6'6" on the aftdeck, 6'7" in the salon, 6'6" in the galley, 6' to 6'7" in the stateroom, and 6'7" in the shower. The stateroom berth measures 6'5" long.

The height above the waterline to the top of the Radar is 15'.

The stateroom is located forward and offers an island queen size berth, four portlights, an overhead hatch, shelves, storage drawers and cabinets, two hanging lockers, nightstands, reading lights, a vanity/desk, a mirror, a privacy door, a teak parquet sole, and a benchseat with storage on each side of the berth.

The head with an enclosed shower features a Raritan Marine Elegance electric head, a storage cabinet and drawers, and an opening side window, located to starboard across from the galley.

36' Kadey-Krogen Flybridge

The flybridge helm area includes a hardtop, a non-skid deck, forward windows with an opening center window, and an Eisenglass enclosure on each side and aft. It has storage under the helm, a Springfield helmseat, an Avante refrigerator, a 110 vac outlet, a 12 vdc outlet, wrap-around seating with storage aft, and an entrance on each side. A large open sundeck aft features a hinged mast, two teak chairs, a folding teak table, a Magma stainless steel BBQ grill, and a hatch with a stainless steel & teak ladder to the aftdeck. Molded-in steps to the foredeck are located forward on each side deck.
