Delicate Balance Overview

Delicate Balance is a 50' Marine Trader Wide Body Trawler acquired by the current owner 19 years ago. She offers elegant teak cabinetry and woodwork throughout the vessel. Delicate Balance has a full beam salon that features a teak parquet sole with an entertainment center and wet bar to the starboard as well as a comfortable fully adjustable sectional sofa to the port. The salon also features a private staircase leading directly to the master stateroom. Delicate Balance is a comfortable, long range offshore cruiser. With its well-equipped galley, large salon, 3 staterooms, 2 ensuite heads and a 3rd day head, Delicate Balance would be an excellent live aboard vessel.

Marine Trader 50' Wide Body Walkthrough

Delicate Balance is boarded amidships from the port or starboard side and features a full walk-a-round Portuguese bridge. From the Portuguese bridge, you will find a well equipped lower help station with a full glass windshield that provides ample visibility forward. Behind the lower helm station is a solid wood staircase leading up to the large flybridge where you'll find a comfortable helm seat for the Captain and a matching seat for the First Mate plus additional seating for eight or more. In addition, the flybridge offers a settee with a varnished teak table. The flybridge also has a full Bimini top for sun protection.

The galley is amidships to the port with a wet-bar to the starboard. The galley features a 4 burner gas stove with oven along with a 2 compartment stainless steel sink and a breakfast counter. A day head is just aft of the lower helm station. Aft of the galley, you enter the enlarged, full-width salon which features a large sectional sofa to the port and a settee to the starboard. Just behind the salon is access to the full-beam cockpit. Through the cockpit door is a custom spiral staircase leading to the dive platform. From the salon, a staircase leads directly to the full-beam master suite which features a queen-sized berth, full length wardrobe, makeup station with mirror and ensuite head with a fully enclosed shower. Traditional teak cabinetry is used throughout the yacht's interior. The engines are located in separate compartments on either side of the central corridor leading to the guest suite. The guest suite is amidships and features a queen-sized berth, plenty of storage and an ensuite head with an enclosed shower. Forward of the staircase and to the port is a fully equipped laundry room and to the starboard is a tool and spare parts room with a well-lite work table. The v-berth features 2 single berths, access to the anchor locker and additional storage.

The headroom in the salon and dinette is 6'7", 6'4" in the master stateroom, 6' in the master stateroom shower, 6'5" in the VIP guest stateroom, 6'4" in the guest stateroom shower, 7' in the forward v-berth, 6'4" in the galley.

Delicate Balance is a comfortable offshore cruiser. She will cruise around 8-9 knots and with 750 gallons of fuel capacity, her cruising range can exceed 1,000 miles.

Delicate Balance offers a full beam master stateroom with a centerline queen-size berth, cedar wardrobe, make-up desk with mirror and an ensuite head with enclosed shower. The guest stateroom has an island queen-sized berth, ample storage and ensuite head with enclosed shower. The v-berth has 2 single berths.

Marine Trader 50' Wide Body Salon

The full beam salon on the Marine Trader offers plenty of opportunity for relaxing or entertaining guests. It features a sleek power reclining sectional to the port and a comfortable settee to the starboard. A wet bar with refrigerator and wine cooler are also to the starboard and forward of the entertainment station which features a 42" smart TV with Bose sound bar, LG DVD player and 5 speakers.

Marine Trader 50' Wide Body Dining

Dining space is available at the breakfast bar aft of the galley and at the settee in the salon. Additional dining is available at the second settee on the flybridge.

Marine Trader 50' Wide Body Full Body Master Stateroom

The full beam master stateroom is aft and offers a centerline queen size berth with an additional day bed to the starboard. It has a teak parquet sole and offers traditional teak cabinetry throughout the cabin. A make-up desk with mirror is to the port along with plenty of drawers for storage. The master stateroom has a large, full length closet to the starboard and an additional storage cabinet for personal items. The master stateroom has a 32" TV/DVD combo and features a private staircase leading to the salon. The ensuite head has an enclosed shower with teak wood bath mat.

Marine Trader 50' Laundry Room & Tool & Spare Parts Room

The laundry room features a full sized Magic Chef top loading washer & Whirlpool front loading dryer. There's a vanity sink in the laundry room with storage cabinets above and below for cleaning supplies. A special feature of the laundry room is the vented solid teak wood laundry hamper and floor mat.

Across from the laundry room, Delicate Balance offers a tool and spare parts room. This is a unique feature in a trawler of this size. The tool room features bins for organizing spare parts and a large mounted tool box with a work top with a vice.

The guest stateroom is amidships and features a queen sized walk-around berth with matching side tables, a full length closet and an ensuite head with enclosed shower.

Marine Trader 50' Wide Body Flybridge

The flybridge offers a blue canvas Bimini top, non-skid deck, twin helm seats for Captain and First Mate with additional seating for eight more guests. There is a varnished table for added dining space. A stainless steel rail-mounted gas grill is mounted on the starboard side.

The 12' Carolina Skiff tender is mounted on the flybridge aft deck and is launched via an 800 lb. Marquipt davit system.
