Design and Build
The Rustler 42 is one of the most respected modern bluewater yachts in production. Designed for serious offshore cruising, she combines proven seakeeping with the craftsmanship and finish for which Rustler Yachts are known. This example is currently in build and scheduled for delivery in late summer 2026.

Specification and Configuration
This yacht will be moulded in classic dark blue, paired with light oak interior joinery, creating a timeless and understated finish. She will be fitted with a Yanmar engine, along with a modern lithium electrical system, ensuring efficient, future-proof onboard power. The specification has been chosen to support long-term offshore cruising in comfort.

Interior and Finish
Below deck, the Rustler 42 offers a refined and practical interior layout, finished to a standard that reflects the yard’s reputation. The oak joinery provides warmth and durability, while the overall design supports extended time aboard without compromise.

Build Process and Owner Involvement

Equipment and Information
Interior
Below decks, the Rustler 42 features a spacious, open plan saloon designed with style for comfort. The large, beautifully finished saloon table can comfortably seat eight. There is a lot of storage within lockers, behind seating areas, bookcases, a bottle storage and lee cloths fitted as standard. A forward facing chart table easily takes a folded admiralty chart plus the usual aids to navigation and a customised ships control panel.

The spacious aft cabin has standing headroom, a full-width double berth and plenty of storage within lockers and a vanity unit with seat. The aft head incorporates a shower unit and a ‘wet oilies’ locker. At the forepeak the grand master cabin has a 6 ft 6 in double v berth. With plenty of storage and an ensuite the cabin ensures comfort.
