This spectacular Joubert Nivelt 52 catamaran is a proven day charter cat that has established itself as a high-end, sport excursion in the Leeward Islands. She was originally built for the Route du Rhum singlehanded transatlantic race. More recently, she has illustrated herself in the local regattas (Heineken Regatta, Voiles de St. Barthelemy, Caribbean Multihull Challenge, Caribbean 600). She is the boat that always seems to get through the demanding tradewind courses intact. Everything on this light (10,000 lbs), sporty cat is optimized for performance, yet she is sturdy and robust. She sails in the mid to high teens easily and tops 20 kts in the right conditions. Check out the video attached to get a sense of her speed. She is run by passionate, professional sailors who know the best equipment, the best materials and perform the maintenance to keep her running at a high level. This high performance cat sails year round. It is not idle in a marina waiting for the next equipment failure; it is continually perfected. And she has paid her way doing day charters. If you are looking to run a high-end charter business and continue the racing tradition, this is a cat to consider. It is fast, tough and sturdy.
