ROLEX SEA-DWELLER DOUBLE RED 1665 MK2 TROPICAL DIAL

CONDITION REPORT
Case is in overall good condition with signs of wear – typical for this kind of sport watch. MK 2 Dial is nice and clean, and has changed colour to a beautiful, homogenous brown tone. Bezel also very nice and has aged to nearly the same wonderful brown tone. Luminor dots are all intact and original. The patina matches perfectly with the hands. Movement is running and the date function performs correctly at midnight.

PERSONAL NOTES
Over the years, I have seen so many different Sea-Dwellers but I have never seen a Rolex Sea-Dweller like this before. The colour of the dial is so amazing and it’s very hard to find the right words. Depending on the light, you have a different brown tone every time. And the fact that the bezel has also turned into a shade of brown is unbelievable. All in all, one of the nicest watches I have ever held in my hands. The Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665 MK 2 dials typically change colour over the years. The combination of strong sun irradiation and long storage are the perfect combination to turn the colour of the dials from black to different shades of brown.
