Converted Powercat 40 just reduced to £97,500

This Powercat 40 has recently had the engines removed and has been converted to a very stable and roomy liveboard boat. She has been built to an extremely high standard. She has a spacious lounge area with a double berth that folds neatly into the lounge wall, with large storage cupboards above. There are large opening windows that provide an amazing view of the marina. The galley/dinette is well equipped and the galley table converts to another double berth. The Heads has a large walk-in shower. Diesel cabin heating is fitted to provide a warm and cosy feel to what can only be described as an apartment on water. It also boasts a large upper deck area which is great for socialising. Ideal for living aboard full-time/part-time, for office use or as an Airbnb.

Accommodation :

Large wheelhouse/galley which can accommodate up to 6/8 people, a dedicated helm seat with full instrumentation and controls. A small table and seating area can be arranged to form a double bed. It has a full galley area with an electric hob, fridge, microwave, grill, and stainless steel sink with a worktop. It has a new suite of roller blinds as well as a sophisticated alarm system.

The very large deck area has been converted into a large lounge with a fold-down double berth, large windows which open inwards to provide fantastic views of the marina and allow a significant amount of sunlight in. The engines have been removed to provide a large amount of storage space. There is a large Head's compartment with a sea toilet, sink (vanity unit ) and walk-in shower with pressurised hot and cold water. High stainless-steel handrails around gunwales for added safety. and stainless steel ladder to take you to the upper deck with provides a great space for entertaining visitors.

History and Construction

Powercat 40’s are renowned for its seagoing capabilities and stable work platform. GRP construction yellow hull with a white superstructure. Stainless steel guardrails. Self-draining non-slip decks. The aft deck of this previous fishing vessel has been converted into a large saloon area with a built-in double bed and all of the internal fittings have been upgraded.

6 x 24-volt batteries (4 x 2024, 2 x 2020) charging from the 4 solar panels and a Mastervolt 240V charger. It also has an inverter for when not connected to shore power. It has a 240v ring main with sockets fitted throughout.
