Boat Overview

“Willpower” is a one owner, Peter Nicholls built, 42’ widebeam. She is the aptly named Explorer model from this renowned builder, with ideal dimensions for both full time living aboard and cruising the more remote and inaccessible rivers and waterways.

Apart from cruising excursions, she has spent her entire life at Limehouse marina where she enjoys a fully residential mooring.

Specifications and Features

Built to a particularly high specification, she has been very cleverly designed (her original pre build design drawings are part of her great history file which will be passed to her new owner) to maximise interior both living space and storage areas.

• Wheel House: Spacious and collapsible to allow her to pass beneath bridges and through canal tunnels. Large enough to accommodate a desk and chairs for home working.
• Saloon: Charming and extremely spacious, fitted with wool carpet, larger than many much longer boats. Features a fitted corner bench that converts into an extremely large double bed for guests.
• Heating: Powerful Squirrel Morso multi fuel stove with a back boiler powering radiators in the bathroom and bedroom.
• Dining: Commissioned folding dining table in the same oak and finish as the boat’s interior.
• Galley: Neat breakfast bar separating it from the saloon, fully fitted with new two burner hob, fridge with freezer compartment, stainless steel sink, and great storage space.
• Bathroom: Unusually spacious for a boat of her dimensions, featuring a larger than usual Japanese-style bath with shower overhead, wash basin, radiator, shaving socket, and cassette toilet. Ample space for a pump out toilet with holding tank if desired.
• Bedroom: Located in the bow, benefits from portholes for privacy, has a double bed, built in wardrobe, and a huge area under the bow deck for additional storage. Built in, fold down, stairs provide access from the bedroom directly onto the foredeck.
• Foredeck: Space for a table and chairs for al fresco dining while enjoying spectacular marina views.
• Roof: Fitted with stainless steel stanchions, making it a fabulous outdoor living space.

• Tube - the Elizabeth Line transports boat owners at both marinas from Canary Wharf to Bond Street, in the heart of the West End, in just 15 minutes.
• DLR – for Limehouse boat owners, Limehouse station to Bank station is a 10 minute trip and for Poplar boat owners, Blackwall station to Bank station takes just 12-14 minutes.
• Boat (!) using Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, Canary Wharf to London Bridge is a15 minutes cruise…the ultimate way to arrive at work or start an evening out on the town!
