BROKER'S COMMENTS
PLAYMOBIL is a custom-built, fiberglass world cruiser designed for serious voyaging and comfortable family living. Built by her original owner for private use, she has had only two owners since delivery and has been consistently maintained to a high standard. With a strong, durable hull and a layout designed for functionality and ease, she is fully equipped for worldwide cruising and offers strong performance under both sail and engine power. A comprehensive 2025 condition survey confirms that PLAYMOBIL remains in excellent overall condition, with key structural, mechanical, and operational systems all well-maintained, updated, and fully functional.
Her spacious interior benefits from oversized windows, allowing natural light to flood the main salon and galley area. The layout is open and practical, featuring a classic design that emphasizes comfort and usability. The salon and galley are integrated into one large space, ideal for socializing or family use. Varnish finishes, cabinetry, and flooring throughout the main living areas remain in superb condition, with only minimal wear observed — a testament to her thoughtful upkeep.
PLAYMOBIL accommodates up to eight guests in four ensuite staterooms. The owner’s cabin features a double bed and ensuite bath. The VIP guest cabin also has a double bed and ensuite, while the remaining guest cabins include one with twin beds and another with a double bed—each with their own ensuite bathrooms. Crew accommodations are thoughtfully laid out, including a captain’s cabin with bunk beds, a table, and ensuite, and a separate single crew cabin. All cabins were found in excellent cosmetic and functional condition, with ensuite heads featuring fully operational Tecma electric macerator toilets and strong water pressure throughout.
On deck, the yacht offers a spacious aft deck with a comfortable sitting area. An additional alfresco, shaded space is located forward, creating a unique exterior layout that enhances onboard flow and visibility. Her classic styling and deck arrangement support alfresco dining, lounging, and easy access throughout. The entire teak deck is in exceptional condition, showing no major signs of wear and maintaining impressive thickness (averaging 27–28mm) across all sections. Anti-slip surfaces and stainless hardware are clean and intact, and the custom helm station is fully equipped with upgraded Raymarine touchscreen navigation displays and controls.
PLAYMOBIL’s rigging and sails were extensively renewed in 2024. Her RONDAL aluminum masts and LEWMAR captive winches are all in top functional condition, with a complete suit of Dacron sails from ONE SAILS (main, genoa, foresail, and mizzen) reported to be in excellent shape. Standing and running rigging systems were found visually sound and service-ready, including hydraulic furlers, backstays, and traveler systems.
Twin Mercedes WM 423 SWS main engines (311 HP each) deliver steady, efficient propulsion with recorded speeds of 11.7 knots at 2200 RPM during recent sea trials. Both engines showed clean starts, no smoke, and no oil or coolant leaks. Two Fischer Panda 25kW generators (installed 2019) offer reliable auxiliary power, and all generator hours were confirmed with recent service. The vessel’s extensive hydraulic and electrical systems — including REXROTH units, Victron Energy inverters, and a fully integrated touchscreen tank management system — support operational ease and redundancy. The watermaker (NEWPORT 1000 MKII) is fully functional and produces potable water efficiently, with all pumps, filters, and membranes confirmed in excellent condition.
PLAYMOBIL is designed to be handled with minimal crew, making her an excellent choice for private family use. Key selling points include her high interior volume, excellent natural light throughout, strong sailing and engine performance, and efficient operational design. Additional features include a Williams tender, two Yamaha SuperJet stand-up jet skis, modern domestic appliances (Miele, Liebherr, Siemens), a full onboard safety suite (updated EPIRB, SART, and life raft), and a hydraulic gangway and swim platform system in excellent working order.
PLAYMOBIL represents excellent value for a custom-built, ocean-ready yacht with pedigree, volume, and usability. She is fully operational and ready to embark on extended cruising, with her systems, cosmetics, and structure described in the 2025 survey as “professionally kept” and “ready to safely set sail.”
