MG B Roadster 1.8 L

This charming MG B MK II has a fully synchronized four-speed gearbox. The MK II model received a special rear axle and a three-phase alternator, and the modified gearbox required the vehicle floor to be significantly altered; at the same time, an upper-flattened driveshaft tunnel was introduced—this differs from previous models. All cars from 1967 onwards have rear-wheel drive.

To meet American safety requirements, later models received three instead of the usual two windshield wipers, allowing the required percentage of the windshield to be wiped, and dashboards with padded top edges, called "Abingdon Pillow" after the place of manufacture. Fold-down seats were introduced into the series in 1970.
