Overview

The largest in our renowned Huffler motor yacht/motor sailer range. This roomy liveaboard is currently set up as a motor version but is ready to convert to a sailing version, including a hydraulically lifting keel. The sailing version with hydraulic lifting keel and electric winches is available at an additional cost; please inquire.

Just completed and offered for sale at our works. This Huffler 56 is built as a motor sailer with a hydraulic lifting keel already fitted and with attachments for the rig and mast fittings should the sailing version be required now or at any time in the future.

An ideal boat for liveaboard cruising with a draft of 1 metre (extending to 2 metres) and a sturdy steel hull. She is equally happy at sea with her top RCD A category for putting to sea.

Interior Features

• From the stern:




• 1 Large double cabin with a large separate shower, separate WC flushing to holding tank, and washing machine. Large wardrobe and drawer space.


• 2 Steps up to wheelhouse saloon with large dinette/settee lowering to double berth. Double helm position with full navigation instrumentation and autopilot. Hatch with steps down to a large engine room with good headroom, bench, and vice. Kabola diesel boiler to radiators throughout the boat. Easy access to main engine and generator.


• 3 From wheelhouse saloon, steps down to spacious galley starboard hand with granite worktop, built-in cup and plate racks, combi electric oven, microwave, and hob. Penguin fridge and separate freezer. Port hand is a separate dinette settee lowering to double berth.


• 4 Forward of galley is a compartment with a second WC flushing to holding tank and basin.


• 5 Door through to owners' stateroom with king-size double, wardrobes, and drawers.


• 6 Door to ensuite with shower and third electric WC to holding tank.


• 7 From the wheelhouse saloon, steps up to stern deck with outside helm position and twin spray hoods. Safety rail with hardwood capping and seating. Stanchions lead to bow deck with electric anchor winch and large deck hatch with companionway down to large stanchions.

Rigging and Equipment

Gaff ketch rig with electric genoa winches. Draft 1.7 or 1.1 metres hydraulic lifting keel.
