Dufour 430 Grand Large Helios

Helios is a well-looked-after, one-owner 2022 Dufour 430, originally sold by Universal Yachting after serving as the Southampton Boat Show display boat. She has a comprehensive specification chosen with UK sailing in mind, including a full Raymarine navigation suite, retractable bow thruster, upgraded sails, Code Zero, and diesel heating.

She’s set up in the most popular 3-cabin / 2-heads layout with the forward galley, giving the interior a spacious and ergonomic feel that works well for both family cruising and longer passages.

On the water, Helios sails exactly as a modern Felci-designed Dufour should:
quick to accelerate, nicely balanced on the helm and confidently composed in a breeze.
The modern chined hull gives her excellent form stability and delivers a comfortable, upright and genuinely quick sailing experience. Her large single rudder provides strong grip and feedback underway, and picks up steerage quickly at low speeds. Combined with the retractable bow thruster, she’s very manageable in close quarters — a hallmark of the newer Dufour range.

Helios has clearly been well cared for and presents as a very good example of the 430. She is currently ashore in Hamble undergoing winter maintenance with Universal Yacht Services and will be relaunched ready for the 2026 season.
